Welcome to PoLiBelKa – true international civic cooperation model under the authority and by the initiative of NGOs of euroregion “Nemunas-Neman-Niemen-Nioman”. 

Euroregion “Nemunas-Neman-Niemen-Nioman” unites borderlands of Lithuania, Poland, Belarus and Kaliningrad region of Russia. It includes:

- in Lithuania – regions (apskritys) of Vilnius, Marijampole, Alytus;

- in Belarus – Grodna region (voblasts‘);

- in Poland – parts of Podlaskie and Warminsko-Mazurskie regions (wojewodstwa);

- in Russia – Gusev, Krasnoznamensk, Nesterov, Ozersk and Cherniakhovsk districts of Kaliningrad region.

- encouraging transboundary communication and cooperation;

- overcoming isolation of borderlands‘ population;

- developing infrastructure and economy;

- raising the life standard of people.

The euroregion exists since 1997, the activities within it are carried out by power institutions founded in each component part. Each country presides the euroregion in turn.
